January 2, 2006KLJ Upgrades to Leading Edge Technology

To maintain our competitive position in the marketplace, KLJ has invested heavily in technology that helps provide a high level of data collection efficiency.  KLJ expanded its relationship with VOXCO by updating to the latest version of the PRONTO predictive dialer and INTERVIEWER software.  This technology is customized for the market research industry to limit dropped calls and allow for greater representation from the sample.

KLJ Field Services has also brought their highly skilled data services team in-house to work closely and directly with project teams to ensure a smooth integrated execution of projects from start to finish.  [Previously, the data services team was part of KLJ’s sister company, KLJ Computer Solutions.]

KLJ’s investment in the latest technology and in bringing the data services team in-house has led to an expansion of the services KLJ can offer to clients.  KLJ Field Services now offers a broader range of data collections modes to choose from, based on the appropriateness to the sampled universe and/or the needs of the study.  KLJ can play audio files as part of a telephone survey (e.g., for testing radio ads), or can even record MP3s of an entire interview or just open-ends.  If the study or universe calls for an online methodology, KLJ now has this as part of their toolkit.  We can employ an online only method using online sample from the client or sample that we source specifically for the study.  We can also provide an integrated mixed mode methodology where respondents can be recruited by telephone to participate in an online study.  The emailed invitations are generated directly from the telephone interview so there is no lag between the two aspects of the study.  The data from the telephone and online portions are also integrated into one data file.
